What agents ask before they start with Gavl.

Do buyers need to be registered in advance?
Yes. All buyers are registered and verified (with deposit held) before auction day. This is a feature, not a limitation - it means every bidder on auction day is a committed buyer.
Can the vendor set a reserve price?
Yes. Reserve prices are set before the auction and not disclosed to buyers. If bidding does not reach the reserve, the auction is not concluded and the vendor retains the option to negotiate or re-auction.
Is Gavl suitable for residential property or commercial only?
Gavl is primarily designed for residential property. It is used by estate agents running traditional auction lots as well as modern method of auction properties.
What happens if technology fails during the live auction?
Gavl has fallback procedures for connectivity issues. The auction can be paused and resumed. Buyers are notified immediately of any technical interruption.
How does Gavl handle buyer deposits?
Buyer deposits are held securely during the registration period. On a successful auction, the deposit is applied to the transaction. On an unsuccessful registration, deposits are returned.
